Ideal for machines lacking a tailstock, its spring-loaded system negates the need for hydraulic compensation. Its low-profile head ensures excellent tool clearance. Royal Spring-Type Live Centers are backed by a +/- 0.0005" TIR or better guarantee. They feature two precision needle roller bearings and a custom thrust bearing to handle loads, along with multiple stacked springs to keep the live center point firmly seated in the workpiece center hole. Available in standard and extended points, straight-shank models are also offered for use in lower turrets on multi-tasking machines.
